The Director of Operations is responsible for ensuring that restaurant staff are rightly positioned to serve guests efficiently, safely, and thoughtfully. Whether FOH or BOH, the Director of Operations participates in operations and ensures that problems are identified & solved for the benefit of guests and staff alike. They are in charge of operational set-up and the flow of people and food while on-shift. They oversee operations ensuring that they not only flow but excel. Furthermore, they are called to lead strategically, to track performance, to anticipate needs, to solve operational challenges, to transition to colleagues well, and to collaborate with other directors to ensure that the business achieves our purpose and vision.

Starting pay: Full time open availability: $18 - $24 per/hour Our Benefits Include:

Operations Director Responsibilities:

• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Ensure the quality of food and best practices to maintain personal and public safety
• Taking care of the team members on shift
• Ensuring a smooth experience with the guest

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Understanding and maintaining of the temperature safety zones
• Efficiently and effectively communicate with your team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members and Guests

• Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
• Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
