Business Development Executive

This position is hybrid in the following locations: Fresno, CA Sacramento, CA Modesto, CA Novato, CA San Jose, CA Oakland, CA Concord, CA Hayward, CA Reno, NV Overview The Business Development Executive (BDE) will lead the activities in selected target markets to identify and assist high-volume healthcare opportunities. The BDE will assist in the development, implementation and execution of marketing plans, and ensure high involvement in all industry-specific activities and associations. Responsibilities/Essential Functions Identify and qualify new business opportunities within hospitals and surgery centers Maintain pre-set standards and controls for healthcare processes Exceed quota on rental and direct sale new business for selected market Conduct periodic education and training sessions as requested by the Sr. VP of Sales, Regional Vice President (RVP) or Director of Sales (DOS) Develop and present professional proposals and presentations Utilize the approved Vestis sales force automation tool to record daily sales activities, create schedules and provide comprehensive updates on prospects and their movement through the sales funnel Implement Account Executive (AE) prospect management processes Monitor prospect management report Develop a schedule of regular meetings within the BDE’s territory, including communication with Sales Managers, DOSs and Operations Management Initiate regular target account strategy meetings with relevant Sales and Operations team members Provide input on marketing campaigns and plans Communicate and provide support to help execute marketing campaigns and plans Attend tradeshows and industry events Become active members in industry-specific associations Develop relationships with Vestis operations and sales support teams Support best practices by sharing information with other BDE’s Ensure adherence to sales policies, including commission plans, account size, minimums, national account policies, lead process and regional account processes Perform other duties as assigned or requested Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Sales experience in the healthcare industry is a plus Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Strong presentation skills Knowledge of sales force systems Strong customer service skills Experience 5-7 years’ experience in sales and marketing in the uniform industry is preferred. Travel Requirements Must be willing to travel up to 70%. Will work in office 1-2 days per week. Compensation The base salary rate ranges from $70,000 to $80,000, with additional compensation including a bonus or commission. Salary ranges are tied to geographic markets and depend on circumstances such as applicant skills, qualifications, degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
