Position Machine Operator I Location US-CA-SANTA FE SPRINGS-11120 ~ 11120 South Norwalk Blvd ~ NORWALK Shift Schedule 2nd Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 2pm – 12am (overtime available) Responsibilities Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) rules, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and technical drawings meticulously to guarantee consistent quality and safety. Identify and report any mechanical or safety concerns promptly to prevent disruptions and maintain operational integrity. Strictly follow written procedures to maintain safety and ensure quality. Utilize standard measuring instruments and scales to ensure all parts meet specified dimensions and tolerances. Operate various CNC lathes and mills. Operate multiple machines at one time. Change inserts or tooling on the machine. Use micrometers, calipers, and hand measurement techniques. Read technical drawings and set up machines in alignment with blueprints. Apply basic to intermediate computer skills for various tasks, including data entry and process monitoring. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications – Must Have HS Diploma or GED required. 6 months of experience working on machining equipment. Qualifications – Preferred Experience with basic computer skills. Some experience in the manufacturing industry. Experience with forklifts and/or pallet jacks. Experience setting up equipment for specific processes.
