Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel. License: Permanent license required in state of application or compact state license. Certifications: Active certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Must have 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience, travel experience will suffice. - Must work at least every other holiday. - ECG rhythm recognition test and medication safety assessment required during orientation. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The role involves caring for patients with medical and surgical conditions in a telemetry setting. The nurse may float to other units to care for similar patient populations. Night shift is required, with scheduled shifts on weekends only. Potential schedules include Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday. Successful applicants must possess the necessary experience and credentials prior to assignment. Candidates will be assessed during orientation to ensure competency in ECG interpretation and medication safety. Compliance with facility policies regarding vaccinations is required. Nurses must meet all specified criteria to qualify for the position.
