Senior Property Accountant

Overview We are seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join a growing accounting team supporting a portfolio of multifamily and/or student housing properties. This role is responsible for full-cycle property accounting, working closely with property managers, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of 8–10 properties Prepare and review monthly property financial packages Perform bank reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries Analyze variances and provide insight into property performance Partner with property managers and operations teams on financial matters Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end processes Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the property management system Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3–6+ years of property accounting experience (multifamily or student housing preferred) Experience with Entrada property management software strongly preferred (or similar systems such as Yardi, MRI, or RealPage) Strong understanding of accrual accounting and month-end close Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Compensation & Details Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000 Full-time, on-site role Collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong leadership support #J-18808-Ljbffr Professional Alternatives
