Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote workforce while being closely connected to a hospice center setting. You will have the option to work 4x10 or 5x8 shifts during business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 7 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic interventions, such as individual counseling, group therapy, and family support sessions, to clients experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns related to terminal illness.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to conduct thorough interviews and assessments, gathering essential information regarding clients’ social, emotional, and health backgrounds.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to meet each client's unique emotional and psychosocial needs.
\n
• Facilitate crisis intervention strategies and provide referrals to community resources ensuring comprehensive support during difficult transitions.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and internal protocols.

• Evaluate the efficacy of counseling services and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate services that ensure holistic care for patients and families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar clinical setting, with a strong emphasis on mental health, particularly regarding crisis intervention and treatment of behavioral health disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
