About the Opportunity

A growing technology company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its team in Manchester, NH.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands-on and working across multiple areas of Human Resources. The HR Generalist will support recruiting, onboarding, employee records, compliance, policy administration, and day-to-day employee support while partnering closely with the HR Manager and employees throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Support the full recruiting process, including assisting with job descriptions, reviewing resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, supporting hiring decisions, and communicating with candidates.
• Coordinate and manage the employee onboarding process, including new hire orientation, onboarding paperwork, and employee file setup.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
• Compile, process, and organize employee-related documentation and HR records.
• Conduct regular audits of personnel files to ensure required documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, responding to HR-related questions and escalating sensitive or complex matters to the HR Manager as appropriate.
• Partner with employees and internal departments to facilitate effective communication and support HR initiatives.
• Assist the HR Manager with developing, updating, and implementing HR policies, procedures, and practices.
• Communicate HR policy and procedure updates to employees in a clear and professional manner.
• Support compliance efforts and help ensure HR practices remain aligned with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
• Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of general HR practices, employee documentation, onboarding, recruiting, and compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Professional judgment and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard HR systems/software.
• Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of an organization.
