*This position is a retail leadership position, which would require nights and weekends*The primary objective of the General Manager is to maintain customer satisfaction and develop sales volume across all products and services of Freedom Armory by assigning short- and long- term objectives, maintaining inventory and displays, assisting customers with selections and purchases, and training and developing staff.Position Attributes Leadership and managementVisionary for store strategy and objectivesAnalytical for store results and initiativesPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities Maintain sales staff job results and attain company objectives by establishing expectations and goals, coaching, counseling, and training staff; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Help customers by providing information; answering questions, obtaining merchandise requested, and completing payment transactions. Support Freedom Armory marketing initiatives designed to retain and mine new customers. Maintain inventory by monitoring backstock, keeping shelves stocked, assisting in the procurement of products, recommending new products in-store and online. Market merchandise by creating and implementing sales promotions, special events, and display plans. Maintain knowledge of products and services by reading specification updates, attending information meetings, and referring questions to supervisor. Complete competitive analysis for pricing of items on hand in the store. Maintain store appearance by creating a clean, orderly, and safe shopping environment. Secure merchandise by implementing security systems and measures. Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment. Promote store by participating in community programs and sporting club events. Remain compliant of all regulations, policies, and procedures related to FFL licenses.ExpectationsMaintain quality services by adhering to policies, procedures and standards.Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.Create and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Lead, guide, grow and empower staff to carry out the store vision.
