Assembler – Clean Room Environment

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components according to drawings and specifications
• Build subassemblies and complete final assembly of equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and work instructions
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively
• Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools
• Experience performing mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
• Experience using measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred
• Experience with conveyor systems, automation equipment, or industrial machinery is a plus
• Familiarity with electrical wiring, cable routing, or panel assembly is beneficial
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices

Work Environment

This position operates in a clean room environment that requires adherence to strict cleanliness and contamination-control standards. You will regularly use tape measures and small measurement tools to perform precise inspections. The role may involve standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work hours and shifts may vary based on production needs, and you will be expected to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety protocols. Dress and attire must comply with clean room requirements, which may include wearing specific garments or protective equipment to maintain a controlled environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
