Senior Clinical Trial Manager

ICON seeks a Senior Clinical Trial Manager to oversee clinical trial operations from initiation through closeout across diverse studies. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing budgets and timelines, and driving successful study outcomes in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of assigned clinical trials, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality standards, and milestones are met
• Drive study start-up activities, site activation, enrollment strategies, and execution through database lock
• Develop and implement study oversight plans, monitoring strategies, and risk mitigation approaches
• Provide oversight of study progress, monitoring activities, clinical metrics, and site performance
• Mentor Clinical Research Associates and cross-functional team members while ensuring ICH-GCP and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or equivalent education and experience
• Significant clinical trial management experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology setting
• Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, ICH-GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated success leading clinical studies from start-up through database lock
• Experience managing study timelines, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Proven ability to identify risks and solve complex operational challenges
• Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
