Salary range: $90,000-$110,000 ( Salary will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to successfully lead the organization’s advancement efforts)

Mission

The mission of the Latino Center of the Midlands is to cultivate generations of engaged, thriving Latinos through educational foundations, workforce development and leadership opportunities.

Position Summary

The Latino Center of the Midlands (LCM) seeks a relationship-driven and highly organized Director of Advancement to lead the organization's fundraising efforts and help diversify contributed revenue. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the newly created Director of Advancement will be responsible for building and managing LCM's individual giving program, coordinating fundraising operations, strengthening donor engagement, leading major gift cultivation, and overseeing Advancement communications and events.

This position will play a central role in advancing LCM's mission by developing the systems, relationships, and strategies necessary to support long-term philanthropic growth. The Director of Advancement will work closely with staff, board members, consultants, donors, and community partners to expand LCM's base of support and build a sustainable culture of philanthropy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Individual Giving & Donor Engagement

• Lead the implementation and growth of LCM's individual giving program.

• Launch and manage donor cultivation and patron engagement initiatives, including The Green Circle giving program

• Develop and execute annual fundraising campaigns and appeals, leading team members who contribute expertise in print and digital communications.

• Coordinate donor stewardship and recognition activities.

• Build and manage donor engagement strategies designed to expand LCM's community of supporters.

• Develop donor journeys that move supporters from initial engagement to deeper levels of investment.

• Track donor engagement and giving trends to inform fundraising strategy in the organization’s CRM.

Major Gifts & Philanthropic Partnerships

• Partner with the CEO to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects.

• Develop prospect profiles, cultivation plans, and donor strategies.

• Coordinate donor meetings, follow-up, and stewardship activities.

• Support campaign, leadership, and board giving initiatives as appropriate.

• Maintain an active donor pipeline and prospect tracking system.

Advancement Operations & CRM Management

• Serve as the primary administrator of LCM's donor database (Little Green Light).

• Support database optimization engagement with StreamlineIQ

• Ensure data integrity, gift tracking, reporting accuracy, and donor record management.

• Develop and maintain fundraising systems, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
