The successful candidate will be exceptionally meticulous, collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on team empowerment & personal responsibility, flexibility, continuous learning, and a culture of seeking the best performance from everyone.Roles and Responsibilities:Supporting the development of Strategic Operating Units, executing both sustainment and modernization programsContributing to software engineering initiatives with software design & development, software test and integration, and DevOps expertiseUsing a variety of software languages, technologies, and industry best practicesSupporting all phases of the development life cycle for flight, mission, lab and tools softwareBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field and 2 years of related technical experience; Master's degree and 0 years of related technical experienceActive DoD Secret ClearanceDemonstrated experience developing software with C++, JavaScript, and PythonDemonstrated experience building modern, scalable, and maintainable web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScriptDemonstrated experience debugging software and resolving defectsDemonstrated experience utilizing Git and GitLab for version control, collaborative development, and resolving merge conflicts in team settingsDemonstrated experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Jira, Confluence)Preferred Qualifications:Ability to obtain SAP accessExperience developing in Linux environments, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Experience using AI-assisted tools for programming, code review, and productivity enhancementExperience automating tasks with Bash or similar scripting languagesExperience developing with embedded C++ on System-on-Chip (SoC) boards such as Zynq Ultrascale+ or similar productsExperience configuring and using code analysis tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, or similarExperience working with automated testing frameworks including Eggplant and Microsoft Testing FrameworkExperience implementing continuous integration solutions with technologies such as Jenkins and BambooPrimary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
