Accounting Manager

We're working on an exclusive search for a growing specialty finance company based in West Los Angeles. They're looking for a sharp Accounting Manager who's ready to step into a high-visibility role with real strategic influence.
This person will report directly to the CFO, lead a team of 2–3, and own the full accounting function. It's a great fit for someone who wants to move beyond execution and into the kind of collaborative, cross-functional work that actually shapes a company's direction.
✅ What the role involves:
→ Daily accounting operations & month-end close
→ GL management, journal entries, and account reconciliations
→ Financial statement preparation and review alongside the CFO
→ Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
→ Managing accounting and bank audits
→ Supporting bank relationships and reporting
→ Driving process improvement initiatives company-wide
Ideal candidate:
→ 5+ years in accounting, including 2 years of management exp
→ Strong GL, financial analysis, and Excel skills
→ CPA license or on track preferred
→ QuickBooks and/or SQL experience a plus
→ Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Business, or Finance
On-site 5 days per week in Brentwood, CA. Strong growth trajectory within the team and company.
