Customer Service/Order Entry Specialist

A growing company specialized in purchasing and shipping high-quality flavors and ingredients in Farmingdale, NY is hiring a Customer Service/Order Entry Specialist to join their growing team! As a Customer Service/Order Entry Specialist, you will be the backbone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer needs are met with precision and speed. This role reports directly to the Department Manager and focuses heavily on high-volume data entry and administrative support. We are seeking a candidate with working knowledge of any ERP system and atleast 2 years of experience in customer service/order entry, ideally for a manufacturer. Responsibilities

• Order Management : Monitor the shared "Order" inbox and promptly enter incoming orders into our system to ensure timely processing.
• Customer Communication : Handle primary administrative tasks, with a heavy emphasis on professional email correspondence with customers.
• Data Accuracy : Maintain high levels of accuracy while performing daily customer service and data entry tasks.
• Technical Integration : Utilize Sage 100 and Microsoft Office daily to manage workflows and documentation.
