Role Summary Cinemark Line Cooks play a vital role in the restaurant operation, cooking quality food in a fast‑paced environment to support a positive movie‑going experience for guests. Responsibilities Prepare all required items in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls. Follow and execute prep lists daily. Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all food products in accordance with health and safety regulations. Minimize food waste and theft through policies and procedures. Collaborate with the server team to ensure food orders are accurate. Clean food preparation area and equipment after each use (excluding assembling/disassembling the pizza dough sheeter if under 18). Open or close a workstation depending on scheduled shift. Provide a professional image at all times through proper Cinemark culinary attire. Consistently achieve standard operating procedures, preventative maintenance, safety, and sanitation. Wipe down and sanitize high‑contact areas for employees and guests. Use Personal Protective Equipment appropriately while completing position‑specific tasks. Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks. Monitor safety and security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and report to management. Perform other work‑related duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum age 16 years. Complete basic food handling training and obtain any local or state‑mandated certification, health card, or food‑handlers permit where required. Complete Safe Alcohol Service training if working with alcohol. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Maintain regular and consistent attendance. Exhibit an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift. Provide excellent guest service. Communicate verbally and in writing with all ages, genders, and personalities. Work effectively in a team environment and independently. Take and follow direction, responding with a sense of urgency. Physical and Environmental Requirements Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theater. Noise level may be moderate to high at times. Work in a standing position for extended periods.
