Backed by a well-established global company and expanding fast across the U.S., this team needs a proven key account leader who can grow distribution and build long-term retail partnerships.What You'll DoOwn HQ and regional relationships with national and regional retailers and distributors in the Pet Specialty channelGrow distribution and sales volume across assigned accountsAnalyze PO and sales data to forecast, assess profitability, and find growth opportunitiesLead customer business reviews and build compelling PowerPoint presentationsExecute promotional, pricing, and merchandising strategies with leadershipProvide forecasts for production and demand planning; resolve customer issuesTrack competitive activity and market trends; manage expenses to budgetWhat You BringRequired: 5+ years of key account or national account managementRequired: Pet Specialty experience calling on PetSmart/Petco, OR Food/Drug/Mass experience with Costco, Walmart, Target, Hy-Vee, Kroger, or Sam's ClubRequired: local to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and able to commute to the office daily (onsite role)Experience calling on headquarters and managing distributor relationshipsStrong data analysis, negotiation, and communication skillsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related fieldAdvanced Microsoft Office skills; valid driver's license; local/regional travel as neededWhat's OfferedBase salary $80,000 - $110,000 plus benefitsOwnership of meaningful accounts and real influence on growth strategyStability of an established global organization with a growing U.S. businessCollaborative, professional environmentInterested?
