RN - MS Tele Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Tele CWR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting required. License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. Certifications: Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Telemetry. Must-Have: Strong Med Surg/Telemetry background. Experience in hospice care and taking care of hospice patients. Description:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs.Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Develops, implements, and coordinates an individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs and the physician’s medical diagnosis.Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.Manages the care of patients.Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.Provides patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
