LICENSED Physical Therapist, FULLTIME

Job Summary:

We are seeking a FULLTIME LICENSED Physical Therapist to join the in-house therapy team at Southport Nursing and Rehab located in Southport, Connecticut. Our team is committed to providing warm, compassionate short-term rehabilitation and nursing care to members of the Southport community and surrounding areas. As a LICENSED Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team of therapists and nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents. This is a rare in-house opportunity to practice in an environment built on integrity and progressive, ethical care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist.

• Record treatments given and note progress in medical records.

• Ensure compliance with all community mandatory education, training, and competence programs.

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task priorities.

• Detail-oriented and follow through.

• Effective and efficient time management skills.

• Works well with people, including staff, residents, and families.

• Ability to solve problems effectively.
