Job Title: Java Backend Developer
Location: Whippany / Wilmington, New Jersey
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract
Work Setting: Hybrid 2-3 days onsite a week
The developer will contribute to application development, enhancement, testing, deployment, and maintenance while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java .
- Develop backend services and applications using Spring Boot .
- Contribute to frontend development using React .
- Develop and integrate applications using cloud technologies , including OpenShift .
- Participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
- Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit, integration, and application testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Support application deployment and maintenance activities.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java .
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot .
- Experience with React .
- Experience with Cloud Technologies , particularly OpenShift .
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes.
- Experience with software/application testing .
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment .
