Warehouse Operations JobProcesses a variety of transactions related to warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, issuing parts to jobs, physically moving parts, and inventory counts.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties:Receive incoming materials, supplies and equipment.- Unload trucks, inspect material for damage or defects, uncrate and assemble materials if needed.- Prepare crates and other items to be shipped.- Efficiently and independently process shipping / receiving / inventory transactions in computer system with minimal errors.- Operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle, etc.- May respond to after hours requests regularly on an on call basis.Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.All employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times.QualificationsSkills and Abilities:Ability to:- Perform all assigned duties.- Demonstrate skills required to obtain forklift operator certification.- Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area.- Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures.- Effectively demonstrate time management and organizational skills needed to complete competing tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines.- Read, write and speak English.Knowledge:- General knowledge of inventory processes including storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, or transferring, and inventory control.- General knowledge of inventory parts used in assigned area preferred.Minimum Education and Certification:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Valid Driver's License and good driving record.- Forklift operator certification.Minimum Experience:- Typically at least 2 years related warehousing and inventory experience.- Experience with inventory management systems preferred, preferably with Oracle.Leadership:- May serve as a resource to others with less experience.Physical Demands: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)- Must be fit for duty for the job tasks being performed.- Refer to WorkSaver Systems Critical Demands for full details. - Must meet the medical requirements necessary to wear PPE required by role. - Constantly required to stand, display good manual dexterity and to reach with hands and arms. - Frequently required to talk and hear. - Frequently required to walk with good balance. - Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds and to push and pull up to 110 pounds. - Occasionally required to stoop, twist, kneel, and squat. - Occasionally required to crawl, climb in and around equipment, stairs and slanted ladders. - Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.Problem Solving and Innovation:- Addresses problems / issues that are well-defined, using guidance available to provide solutions.- Opportunity for innovation does not arise frequently.Impact:- Actions and decisions impact operational and to some degree financial results.This job description is a summary of essential job functions.
