Civil Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a talented Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys handling sophisticated matters, and is looking to build a long-term career with a collaborative firm.Responsibilities-Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.-Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.-Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.-Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.-Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.-Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit management, and trial strategy.-Negotiate settlements and advise clients on litigation risks and business objectives.-Maintain regular communication with clients while providing practical legal guidance.-Collaborate with partners and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.-Stay current on Florida statutes, case law, and procedural developments.Qualifications-J.D. from an accredited law school.-Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.-3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.-Experience handling commercial litigation, business disputes, professional liability, insurance defense, construction litigation, or general civil litigation is highly desirable.-Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.Deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience.-Excellent organizational and case management abilities.-Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.-Outstanding communication and client relationship skills.Compensation & Benefits-Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.-Performance-based bonus opportunities.-Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.-401(k) with firm contribution.-Paid vacation, holidays, and personal time.-Continuing Legal Education (CLE) reimbursement.-Florida Bar dues and professional membership reimbursement.-Opportunities for mentorship, business development, and long-term career advancement.
