Registered Nurse - Critical Care/Cardiac Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule PM shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, 3x12 hours Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Critical Care/Cardiac nursing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate competent knowledge in patient assessment across all stages of development, from pediatrics to geriatrics. This role involves delivering patient care in accordance with best practices while maintaining a focus on safety, documentation, and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform systematic and comprehensive patient assessments. Provide direct patient care and support patient care delivery. Document all aspects of patient care accurately and comprehensively. Uphold professionalism and adhere to institutional policies and procedures. Ensure patient safety through adherence to National Patient Safety Goals. Tailor patient care based on individual conditions, diagnoses, and procedures. Involve patients and families in education regarding surgical procedures and instructions. Evaluate pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness based on surgical requirements. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 year of experience in Critical Care/Cardiac nursing or Emergency Department. Current RN License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required for pediatric ER only. Why ARMStaffing?
