Role Summary TruGrid is currently seeking a Business Development Lead who is responsible for developing and executing the company’s go-to-market strategy, managing a complex project and contract negotiation, and drive revenue growth across NA markets. The Business Development Lead is a critical executive role that plays a pivotal role in shaping a company's presence and driving its revenue growth on a global scale. This job description outlines the core responsibilities and qualifications required for this position. Duties/Responsibilities: Lead various strategies with key clients to build an utility scale BESS and/or solar EPC pipeline of business. Tracks and supports key client initiatives. Capable of developing relationships internally and externally and is able to support a strong understanding of project stages and developer challenges. Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion objectives. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and potential partnerships to drive growth. Best in class network of contacts and relationships that will have been established and developed over years of project delivery. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong desire to learn Strong desire to participate with an energetic and dynamic company as we grow in sales to over 1B in sales. Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make informed strategic decisions. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Adept at managing and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives. Cultural sensitivity and global awareness to navigate diverse markets. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development leadership roles, with a proven track record of success. Strong knowledge of developer/ IPP/utility markets, sales methodologies, and industry best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex strategies.
