Direct Support Professional - Pasadena, CA (EBSH Adult Residential Facility) Job Title: Direct Support Professional 1 or 2 Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Responsibilities Assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily living tasks, including dietary, hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Redirect behaviors using activities such as walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects. Outline and prepare daily routines as written in Individual Program Plans. Assist clients with bathroom needs and change undergarments or clothing when necessary. Prepare daily meals and assist with cleanup. Pick up and drop off clients in company vans from/to their home or facility when required. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. CPR/First Aid certification. Completed DSP 1 and DSP 2 certificates. RBT certification within 6 months of hire (training available). Minimum of 1 year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses with challenging behaviors. Valid in-state driver’s license, over 21, current registration and insurance, and driving record with no more than 2 points in the last 3 years. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs.
