Revenue Integrity Analyst

Facility University Medical Center of El Paso Department CCI DSS Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Days Supports accurate revenue capture, billing compliance, and Charge Description Master (CDM) integrity across assigned revenue departments. Monitors and maintains CDM data in patient accounting systems, CDM maintenance tools, and related clinical sub-systems to ensure charges, codes, and billing requirements are accurate, current, and compliant with regulatory and payer guidelines. Reviews CDM updates, researching and resolving revenue integrity issues, supporting charge capture and reconciliation processes, and assisting with reports, dashboards, policies, procedures, and team education. Collaborates with Revenue Integrity team members, clinical departments, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, reduce compliance risk, prevent lost revenue, and support consistent revenue cycle operations. Work Experience Three years of experience in Revenue Integrity, Chargemaster, or related experience required, with a preference for experience in the healthcare industry. License/Registration/Certification Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist–Physician Based (CCS-P), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required; or completion of certification within two years in the position Education and Training Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Skills Medical Terminology and Coding Charge Master maintenance Familiarity with and ability to research regulatory Compliance and Payer guidelines Analysis and report writing Professional level written and oral communications, including presentations and training Demonstrated proficiency in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding, and familiarity withRevenue Code assignment and medical terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and intermediate Excel skills. Proficiency in CDM tools such as MedAssets, FinThrive, and Craneware.
