As a Security Officer Seasoned Patrol in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to control access, assist with visitor directions, and/or support orderly movement throughout the location.
• Support staff and visitors during medical-related incidents, alarms, and/or emergency situations by following post orders and communicating with site contacts and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Applicants must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
