Sales & Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities Actively reach out to businesses to convert leads into active sales. Communicate confidently over the phone and in person. Occasionally attend industry days, seminars, and participate in the proposal writing process. Travel occasionally—less than 10% of the time, mainly in the DC, MD, VA areas. Requirements Must have some sales experience, including prospecting and phone calls. Must possess the skills necessary to convert leads into sales. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience writing proposals (a major plus). Experience or knowledge of government contracts (a major plus). Must be willing to obtain an industry certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, VMware Pre-Sales Engineer, etc.) within 6 months of hire. Must work efficiently and have an agile mindset. Self‑driven and motivated to grow quickly is a must. Should make decisions based on data and track progress with appropriate KPIs. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of sales/lead generation experience. College‑level associate degree or higher preferred; or equivalent related work experience. Some knowledge of cloud technology.
