Work-life balance is valued and encouraged.How you'll contributeA Pharmacist who excels in this role:Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems.Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients, and pharmacy students.Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry.Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional requirements include:· Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.· ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.· One year of experience preferred· ASLS certification preferredMore about Haywood RegionalPeople are our passion and purpose.
