About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Project Development for General Construction. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a focus on driving the successful completion of large-scale manufacturing and distribution projects. Key responsibilities for this role include leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, and managing and supporting project teams through all phases of development and construction. The VP will also be responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, identifying and mitigating project risks, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Applicants for the VP of Project Development position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in construction project management, with a proven track record in leading large-scale industrial projects. A strong understanding of the complexities involved in such projects, from design to final delivery, is essential. The role requires previous experience in a senior leadership position, expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management, and a background in general contracting. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, and experience with managing a project portfolio with a value of $50M or more per project is a key requirement. The ideal candidate will be adept at bringing projects to the finish line and will work closely with business development teams to pursue new opportunities and expand the company's project portfolio.
