Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Range: $24-$28 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Review AP invoices and ensure accuracy
• Apply payments and perform accurate data entry into accounting software
• Resolve past due invoices collaboratively with vendors
• Enforce internal controls for Accounts Payable
• Basic A/P, A/R reconciliation and follow the 3-way matching process
• Review other A/P clerks' accounts for accuracy
• Reconcile payable reports monthly for accuracy
• Assist in training other employees
• Support the accounting department in month-end reconciliation
• Interact with employees and vendors to complete tasks promptly
• Manage the company credit card platform, ensuring compliance
• Accurately record monthly credit card statements
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Basic mathematical principles
• Knowledge of accounting software (ability to learn new software)
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to handle and resolve problems
• Physical ability to perform essential duties, including sitting at a desk and lifting a minimum of 15 pounds
