Required License/Registration/Certification - Registered Nurse (RN) and must advance on UKHC Nursing Professional Advancement (NPA) within 6 months of hire and annual resubmission required throughout employment in this job title.

Physical Requirements - The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.

Shift - Monday – Friday, Day Shift; 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hrs/wk)

Job Summary - The Pediatric Specialty Clinic is seeking a Nurse Team Leader to manage nursing teams with the division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology Clinic. This position will manage daily clinic flow, provide direct patient care, as well as day to day oversight of nursing and clinical staff. The Nurse Team Leader will work closely with the division chief and providers to create, maintain, and implement clinical protocols and procedures to ensure continuity of care. In addition to the above, the Nurse Team Lead will also work closely with the Practice Manager and Nurse Clinical Manager to operationalize ambulatory clinic issues, nursing directives, scheduling templates, protocols, and staffing models.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities - Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook, clinical applications. Supervisory experience, detail oriented.
