Family Assistant, Household Manager, Live Out, Part Time

Overview A Manhattan‑based family of three, with a new home in White Plains, needs to hire an organized, proactive Part‑Time Family Assistant / House Manager to provide approximately 20 guaranteed hours of support per week. Responsibilities Household coordination, personal assistance, and administrative support to ensure the family’s homes and day‑to‑day needs run smoothly. Oversee the family calendar and manage household projects and maintenance. Coordinate staff, vendors, and repairs. Handle deliveries and returns. Schedule household, personal, and medical appointments. Organize records and manage insurance matters and related paperwork. Coordinate travel and assist with other family logistics and special projects as they arise. Qualifications Excellent communication skills. Technologically proficient. Highly organized, discreet, and detail‑oriented. Valid driver’s license. Willing and able to work in a home with pets. Access to reliable personal transportation strongly preferred. Residence likely between Upper Manhattan and Fairfield County to allow easy access to both residences. Schedule & Pay The schedule requires some flexibility and will typically include one full in‑person day and two in‑person half days during the week, along with approximately one to two additional hours of remote or flexible administrative support on the remaining weekdays, as needed. Most in‑person work will take place at the family’s White Plains home, with travel into Manhattan based on the family’s needs. Salary range: $50–60/hr for approximately 20 guaranteed hours per week.
