As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Tablet Patrol in Wilmington DE this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings work areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and other assigned areas assist with visitor and employee inquiries and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related matters.
• Support daily operations by following post orders maintaining an attentive presence and reporting maintenance environmental and/or policy-related concerns observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
