Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments to understand each client's unique challenges and goals.
\n
• Providing individual, couples, and family therapy sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

• Creating treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, or eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

• Maintaining detailed and accurate client records and treatment documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Regularly collaborating with other professionals within the clinic to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Participating in team meetings to discuss client progress and develop new strategies to enhance service delivery.

• Engagement in community outreach programs to help reduce the stigma associated with seeking mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients often seek therapy for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, and cultural adjustment. As a therapist, you will be expected to deliver services that are sensitive to the cultural backgrounds and individual needs of each client, fostering a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in New Jersey.
\n
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to provide bilingual therapy services.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health setting with children, adults, and families.
\n
• A deep respect for cultural diversity and an understanding of how cultural factors can impact a client's experience.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

• A commitment to ethical practices and compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience and skills will be given preference:

• Specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, or EMDR.

• Experience working with specific populations, such as LGBTQ+ clients or those experiencing grief and loss.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software and telehealth platforms.

• Ability to provide services as an in-network provider for at least one insurance panel.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
