Quality Engineer 3 - Contract Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Red Oak, TX. Experience and Other Requirements Experience with the manufacturing processes of large to medium composite and/or metallic major structures Ability to understand, communicate and present complex technical information to a wide audience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Self‑motivated and able to proactively recognize and prioritize business needs with minimal guidance Experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs such as CATIA or NX a plus Strong understanding of engineering principles, blueprint reading & practices such as geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, model definition, tolerance analysis, and engineering bill of materials Working knowledge of Process/Product Configuration Control and Change Management Strong mechanical aptitude, great attention to detail and exceptional communication skills This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
