Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role focuses on delivering impactful instruction and fostering a supportive learning environment for students requiring Individualized Education Program (IEP) services. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, families, and professionals—all while developing and implementing adaptive curricula that empower students to succeed.

Qualifications:

• Valid OH K-12 Intervention Specialist License required
• Previous experience teaching or supporting high school students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and data-driven instruction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and modified lessons to accommodate diverse learning abilities
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs in compliance with state regulations
• Assess student progress, update educational plans, and maintain thorough records
• Communicate regularly with parents and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
• Implement classroom management strategies that encourage student independence and growth
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training sessions as required

This contract begins in August 2026 and concludes in June 2027, covering a full school year with a consistent 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
