The Opportunity Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners. One (1) year of EM experience is preferred but will consider a new grad with multiple EM rotations. Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are preferred. Current IN state license is a plus. Providers will be cross credentialed at Methodist Hospital Northlake and Southlake Campuses. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. The Practice – A Dual-Hospital System Methodist Hospital, Southlake Campus – Merrillville, Indiana Methodist Hospital Northlake Campus – Gary, Indiana 400-bed hospital with 28-bed Emergency Department. Annual ED volume of 36,000 with a 20% admit rate. All core sub-specialty backup available excluding ophthalmology. Multiple cath lab and OR suites as well as Intervention Radiology.
