This full-time position plays a critical role in the delivery of mental health and substance use treatment services to our clients. This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible working arrangement while still being actively engaged in leading-edge behavioral health services. Our Detox Center provides a supportive environment for team collaboration, where LCSWs can engage with clinical directors and administrative leadership to ensure that therapeutic practices align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to establish individual counseling needs, utilizing diagnostic criteria from the DSM to determine appropriate treatment recommendations.

• Formulate and prepare substance abuse counseling components of comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the specific circumstances and needs of each client.

• Assist in the development of transition plans for clients, ensuring a continuum of care that appropriately aligns with their recovery process.

• Meticulously document all counseling services, assessments, and client interactions in clinical records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational protocols.
\n
• Maintain and manage a defined caseload, updating all necessary clinical documentation and treatment plans in accordance with best practices.

• Coordinate support services for clients and their families, effectively integrating healthcare, legal, educational, and employment resources into the recovery process.

• Engage in crisis intervention efforts when necessary, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate immediate support for clients facing urgent challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work mainly with individuals facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our patients typically require tailored therapeutic interventions, and your expertise will guide them through recovery stages, emphasizing resilience and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution; active LCSW licensure is required.

• Demonstrated experience in working with clients struggling with addiction and mental health challenges.

• Strong understanding of DSM and ASAM criteria for assessing and formulating treatment plans.

• Excellent organizational abilities, self-motivation, and effective communication skills, ensuring a high standard of care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
