Our office stays up-to-date with the latest in surgical and medical treatment(s) and equipment for a state of the art facility. **Duties/Responsibilities:** * Review and analyze medical records and patient information to ensure accurate coding and billing.* Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for reimbursement.* Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing discrepancies or denials.* Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.* Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding. + Comply with specific guidelines for all carriers, Medicaid, Medicare and third-party reimbursement policies, regulations, and accreditation guidelines.* Reviewing, revising, and working rejections and resubmitting claims.* Submission of secondary claims upon processing of primary insurance.## Qualifications**Required Skills/Abilities:** * 3-5 years of Billing, Coding, and collections of claims in a healthcare setting. + Certification in medical billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) preferred, would consider recent graduate with CPC certification + Proficiency in medical terminology + Strong organizational skills with solid problem-solving skills.* Proficient computer skills and EMR.* Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding guidelines and updates.* Experience with medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.* Working knowledge of coding, billing, and collection of claims with strong attention to detail and accuracy.* Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.* Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.**Education and Experience:** * High school diploma or equivalent.* Billing and Coding: 3-5 years (Preferred)* Healthcare: 5 years (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
