Description
Erie Family Health Center is looking for an energetic, friendly, compassionate, team-oriented, responsible, innovative, individual to join our Patient Access Center! The Patient Access Team Leader supervises Patient Access Representatives (PAR) and is responsible for the delivery of excellent customer.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service by ensuring customer service standards are consistently met
- Monitors direct reports KPIs to ensure they are meeting the daily, weekly, monthly metric requirements
- Coach and develop PARs on a daily basis and complete monthly performance reviews
- Attends meetings, as needed, with other department and sites to review and discuss new processes or trainings
- Able to work evenings (up to 7 pm) and weekends (9 am to 2 pm) as needed
- Answers telephone inquiries, schedules appointments, verifies insurance eligibility, and updates patient information in CPS
Qualifications
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 + years experience as a Patient Access Representative/Specialist or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Great attendance and overall reliability
- Excellent understanding of AIDET and service excellence
