Department/Unit: Medicine - Cardiology Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary and Sign-On Bonus Base salary range: Tiered by years of licensure Newly licensed: $116,035 3 years of experience: $122,861 8 years of experience: $129,686 12 years of experience: $136,512 Sign-on bonus: $20,000 (subject to repayment if employment ends) Position Highlights Full-time, Monday–Friday day schedule Outpatient clinic-based role Collaborative practice with heart failure cardiologists and multidisciplinary team members Opportunity to develop specialized expertise in heart failure and advanced therapies, including VADs Supportive training and onboarding environment Responsibilities Conduct outpatient visits for patients with heart failure, including ongoing management and follow-up care Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations Order and interpret diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests and cardiac imaging Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Provide medication management, patient education, and counseling on disease management and lifestyle modifications Coordinate care with primary care providers and other specialists Respond to patient inquiries related to ongoing care Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and coding accurately in the electronic health record Support clinic workflow and patient throughput as part of a team-based care model Qualifications Current license and active registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program Interest in or experience with cardiovascular or heart failure care preferred Familiarity with electronic medical records; Epic experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining HIPAA confidentiality standards Benefits Competitive base salary range of $123,000–$143,000 based on years of licensure Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Generous paid time off and holiday schedule Albany Med retirement plan plus a 403(b) plan Annual CME allowance and dedicated CME time Occurrence-based malpractice coverage Employee wellness programs and mental health support Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and CV to Physician Recruitment at View email address on click.appcast.io Albany Medical College is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences, including women, persons with disabilities, protected veterans, and underrepresented minorities #J-18808-Ljbffr 100 Albany Med Health System
