At TOI, our Hand & Elbow team provides specialized care for patients with conditions and injuries affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and upper extremity. Our providers care for a broad range of orthopaedic conditions, from sports and work-related injuries to arthritis, fractures, nerve disorders, tendon and ligament injuries, and complex upper-extremity conditions. With access to state-of-the-art technology, advanced imaging, evidence-based treatments, and comprehensive rehabilitation services, our team is focused on helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they value. As a Physician Assistant at TOI, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced hand and elbow orthopaedic specialists in both the clinic and operating room. In the clinic, you’ll evaluate and treat patients, develop individualized care plans, perform procedures, and guide patients through their recovery. In the operating room, you’ll be an integral part of the surgical team, assisting with hand and elbow procedures and gaining valuable experience in the surgical management of upper-extremity conditions. This role offers the opportunity to develop specialized expertise across the full continuum of hand and elbow care—from the initial evaluation and diagnosis through surgical treatment and postoperative recovery. You’ll work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment alongside accomplished orthopaedic surgeons and a dedicated clinical team, while making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients throughout Southern Arizona. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current Arizona Physician Assistant license or license in process Current NCCPA certification Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain Current ACLS certification Orthopaedic experience preferred; strong interest in hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow care encouraged Willingness to participate in both clinic and surgical settings Strong clinical, procedural, communication, and patient-care skills Ability to work collaboratively with orthopaedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, and the clinical team Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care #J-18808-Ljbffr BANNER UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER - TUCSON
