Come join us today!Schedule: Tues- SaturdayHours: Tues-Friday 11am-7:30pm, Saturday 7am-3:30pmResponsibilitiesThe Histology Technologist is responsible for daily specimen processing in the histology laboratory.Communicates with staff physicians and other staff employees regarding patient specimens.Works with management personnel to ensure efficient and technically correct systems and procedures in the histology laboratory that includes QA/QC of reagents, instrumentation, proficiency testing, etc.Required QualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's Degree in clinical lab, chemistry, biology or related fieldSuccessful completion of board-approved Histology training program with ASCP HT or HTLcertification and a FL Histology technologist clinical laboratory license.3-5 years of clinical lab/histology experience preferred.Experience may be substituted for education as described by the State Clinical Laboratory Personnel Statutes.Screenings – Background, Drug, and Nicotine ScreensSafeguarding our patients and each other is an important part of how we deliver the best care possible to the communities we serve.
