Cytogenetic/FISH Technologist

Job Title
Preparation of clinical specimens (i.e. bone marrow, peripheral blood and lymph node) for cytogenetic testing, which include setting up the specimens, harvesting, slide making and banding. Screening the g banded slides. Setting up fish for hematological probes. Washing and screening fish slides. Primary responsibilities of a technologist are focused on routine specimen analysis and reporting.
