Physician Assistant

Highly regarded neurology team in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area is looking to add an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to their growing practice! Work alongside a robust team of fellowship trained neurologists and experienced advanced practice providers who cover a wide range of subspecialties. Ideal candidates will have direct experience in neurology or other relevant specialties, and the group is also very willing to train! Responsibilities: 4 or 5 days per week with 8 or 10 hour shifts (flexible) 32 to 40 hours per week (flexible) No nights and no weekends Function independently to perform histories and physicals for acute and chronically ill neurological patients Order and interpret diagnostic tests relative to the patient's age-specific needs Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment modalities Collaborate with the primary neurologist of each patient Perform office procedures including trigger point injections and occipital nerve block Qualifications: Experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in neurology or other relevant fields Relevant clinical rotations in neurology Ability to obtain Minnesota PA or NP license Ability to establish rapport with patients and families Excellent interpersonal skills Highly completive base salary plus bonuses #J-18808-Ljbffr
