Position Overview

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide direct and indirect speech-language services to an elementary school caseload of approximately 50 students. The SLP will collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to support the communication needs of students and ensure progress toward educational goals.

Caseload Details

• Elementary School Students
• Approximately 50 students on caseload
• School-based speech-language therapy setting
• Part-time need

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
• Support students' communication skills across educational settings
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications

• PA SLP Educator Certificate
• Pennsylvania SLP License
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply, if eligible
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education services preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
