Technical Support Specialist

Perform technical and data management support of the student information system (Banner) as it relates to the Graduate and Undergraduate Admissions Offices. Provide oversight of data integrity; provision of data to both internal and external units; electronic loading of data into Slate and Banner database; and testing of Banner updates and web forms. Coordinate and provide training to staff members in the BannerSIS. Manage communications and applications for students who defer admission.

Associate's degree with one to two years' experience in data management, including relational databases, spreadsheets, file transfer protocol required. Effective interpersonal and organizational skills. Familiarity with the concepts of an electronic calendar and e-mail. Data entry skills required.

Knowledge of the BannerSIS is highly desirable. Familiarity with relational database highly desirable. College admissions experience is highly desirable.

$25/hour to $27/hour

A probationary period may be required. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy. Background Check required for this position.
