Eurofins companies offer a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Software Programmer will be a member of the Quality Engineering team supporting the pharmaceutical laboratories. The employee will develop custom computer scripts to support the laboratories with data transfer from laboratory instrumentation, consolidation and configuration of data to enable decision making on test data.Software Programmer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Research and work with internal teams to develop new custom spreadsheets containing new custom code to automate data interpretation, consolidation and transferGenerate validation documents (e.g. URS, FRS, IQ/OQ, UAT) and execute testing to ensure accurate and reliable performance in accordance with established procedures to meet client and regulatory requirementsPerform review of spreadsheets to meet validation requirementsPerform changes to existing spreadsheet codeQualificationsThe ideal candidate would possess:Programming knowledge of Visual BasicStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to research and learn new techniques quickly, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesKnowledge of GxP compliance in a pharmaceutical settingBasic Minimum Qualifications:Experience with Visual Basic code development A degree/certification in science, engineering, computer systems, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one year of education in related major)Experience with technical writingAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with additional hours, as needed.
