As an Electrode Operator, you will help deliver world-class products to customers that have trusted the Lincoln Electric brand for decades. By ensuring the proper production and packaging of our Electrodes, you will help continue to drive a legacy of proven and trusted products that will help build the world's bridges, skyscrapers, energy pipelines, and more for decades to come.

The Core Description – Perform general labor tasks for the production and packaging in our electrode department, including placing components or finished products in appropriate bins, mixers, presses or other machinery. Requires the completion of proper labeling and other paperwork related to production and perform quality checks on all assigned work.

The Day-to-Day – Work with heavy machinery or components designed for mixing and packaging of electrode products. Requires the use of hands for grasping, pushing, and pulling. Also includes working collaboratively with computer-controlled equipment that requires mechanical and spatial ability and the use of conveyors or other equipment for sorting, counting, or product inspection. May perform occasional problem solving or troubleshooting. Heavy lifting is required on a regular basis.

Following Best Practices – Strictly adheres to quality standards and frequently reads and follows written work instructions and production specifications (e.g., scales, dials or gauges, charts or tables). Understanding, following and enforcing all risk reduction procedures including wearing specified protective clothing and safety equipment where required.
