Job Requirements:

Licenses: Active Indiana Medical License or IMLC

Board: Board Certified preferred; Board Certified or Board Eligible accepted, with certification required within 5 years of residency

DEA: Active DEA Required

CSR: Active Indiana CSR Required

Certifications: BLS Required; ACLS Required if requesting conscious sedation privileges

Experience: No minimum years of experience specified

Vaccinations: Flu and COVID vaccination required, or approved medical/religious exemption

Other Qualifications: Drive-in candidate preferred; must be fully credentialed with locum agency; must provide 12 months of procedure logs; must sign Anesthesia Attestation for all procedures; must commit to orientation and all listed coverage dates

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient anesthesiology coverage for scheduled surgical and procedural cases.

Administer adult and pediatric general anesthesia.

Provide cardiac, epidural, spinal, obstetric, thoracic, orthopedic, vascular, and spine anesthesia.

Perform required invasive lines, airway management, regional anesthesia, and other mandatory procedures.

Supervise CRNAs as required.

Provide weekend call coverage as scheduled.

Complete provider order entry and document patient care in Epic.

Enter worked hours through the Vemsta timekeeping platform.
